If you’ve reached this stage in the home buying process, or you’re remortgaging, you now qualify for our Express Service, which aims to get you a true Mortgage In Principle (MIP) from a lender - one you can trust - and assign your case to our Pre-application team within 24 hours. 

This obviously depends on you providing us with all the necessary information we’ll need to be able to complete your application within this timescale, but moving forward, you’ll be a priority customer, benefitting from this unique service as part of our promise to you.

A lot of customers come to us having felt pressured into making an offer on a property before they were truly ready to move forward with their mortgage. Being unprepared could result in an offer being withdrawn, which can be pretty demoralising if you have your heart set on a particular property.

The Small Print

Here are a few terms and conditions of our Express Service to be aware of in advance. 

  • The 24-hour timescale applies after you have spoken to one of our qualified mortgage advisors and submitted all necessary documentation to Picnic.

  • Once you're passed to our Pre-application team, they may require further documentation specific to the lender in addition to what was requested by our Advisors for your MIP. The 24-hour timescale applies from the point you have supplied everything to our Pre-application team. 

  • 24 hours is calculated in working hours. Monday to Friday, outside these hours, processing time may be extended.
