Looking for a career change? We’re offering an outstanding opportunity for highly motivated, disciplined, and organised individuals with strong customer service and sales track records to join a company at the forefront of disrupting the mortgage market and become an employed CeMap qualified Mortgage Adviser.

We’ve grown from 0 to approximately 100 team members in three years. We’re now investing further into our Mortgage Academy, aiming to hire, train and progress 20 inexperienced candidates to become Competent Mortgage Advisers per year.

Who We Are

In a nutshell, we’re all about taking away the stress and anxiety people typically feel when getting a mortgage, making their journey smooth and straightforward. We do this through a healthy combination of cutting-edge technology and the good old human touch.

No jargon. No nonsense. Just a desire to cut through all the noise and create an honest, transparent environment where our customers can feel completely in control of their home-buying destiny.

Through Haysto - our sister brand - we've helped more people than any other broker become homeowners after being told 'No' elsewhere. Picnic brings that same award-winning expert service and tech to everyone else.

So, whether someone's making their first move, next move, remortgaging or a property investor, as their mortgage adviser, you'll play a major role in finding them the right solution for their needs.

What We’re Looking For

Target candidates: Ambitious individuals with a strong customer service and sales background, looking to forge a long-term career in the mortgage industry.

Required skills for the role:

  • You’re a confident communicator, whether on a telephone call, face-to-face, or over email, you’ll know how to get your message across clearly and effectively.

  • You’re driven, proactive, and always ready to take the initiative, able to learn quickly and a natural self-starter who thrives in fast-moving environments.

  • You’re comfortable building solid relationships with both customers and colleagues.

  • You’re highly organised, with a sharp eye on the clock and know how to get things done - we move at speed and need everyone to keep up.

  • You’re tech-savvy and confident with digital tools; you know your way around a computer and can pick up new systems fast.

  • You embrace change, continuously looking for ways to improve and do things better.

How It Works

At Picnic, we’ve created a working environment and structure designed to help you thrive as a Mortgage Adviser. This is primarily an online and telephone-based role, and to hit your OTE, you’ll need to submit more than 15 mortgage applications each month.

To support you in your role, you can rely on our dedicated Mortgage Experts to carry out all the work involved with initially contacting and pre-qualifying customers and securing appointments for our Mortgage Advisers. We also have separate teams responsible for managing the progress of mortgage applications post-submission and handling customers' insurance requirements.

This means all your skills and experience can focus solely on offering the right advice and industry-leading customer service standards, allowing you the freedom and opportunity to perform at your very best.

During the 16-week training period, the working hours will be:
